Perfect Performance is sponsoring an Elite 7on7 Team in Northern Virginia to participate in spring 7on7 tournaments in the Mid-Atlantic region.  It will be a great opportunity for the athletes to compete against top-level competition, receive national recruiting exposure, and be coached by former NFL and college players and coaches. 

The 2-hour tryout will consist of a dynamic warm-up, drill and instruction, and individual and team competition periods.  The team will have 21 players on the active roster and a 9-man practice squad.  The team will be selected by Saturday, January 28, 2012.

Pre-registration is suggested, but not required.  The pre-registration fee is $25 and the walk-up fee is $35.  The pre-registration link is attached below. 

The tryout will be held outside so please wear cleats and dress appropriately for the weather.

Elite 7 on 7 Team FAQ

Q: What ages are eligible to play on the team?
A: All current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade football players are eligible to play on the team.

Q: Is there a financial commitment associated with playing on the team?
A: Parents will be responsible for paying for lodging and accommodations while at the tournaments.  Perfect Performance will cover tournament fees and team travel.

Q: When and where are the tournaments that the team will be playing in?
A: The tentative dates of the tournaments are March 10, April 10, and April 21.  The tournament schedule is not solidified, but Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, and Delaware are probable tournament sites.

Q: How many practices will there be a week?
A: The team will practice one day per week.

Q: Where will the practices be?  What time?
A: The practices will be held in Northern VA on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

Q: Will this interfere with his high school team?
A: No, the Elite Team tournaments will not interfere with high school team 7 on 7 tournaments.

Q: What exposure will my son get from these tournaments?
A: Rivals.com will be covering these tournaments as well as college recruiters.  College scholarships were offered to athletes who participated and excelled in these tournaments.
