Perfect
Peformance Life Cycle
Each athlete that
signs up with Perfect Performance goes through our “Perfect Performance
Life Cycle”. The life cycle consist of the following
stages:
 |
Evaluation -
Each coach will evaluate each player in their first meeting.
This evaluation will consist of a physical and mental
component. The physical evaluation will assess the athlete’s
strengths and weaknesses as it relates to that position.
For example, a great wide receiver lowers his center
of gravity by bending his knees at the top his routes.
If that is a problem area for the receiver, the coach
will note it and work drills that will teach the athlete
to do lower center of gravity. The mental evaluation
will assess the player’s knowledge of the game
for his skill level and position. For example, cornerbacks
should key a receiver’s alignment and eliminate
certain routes that could be run based on that distance. |
Goal
Setting - Individual goals are not as important
as team goals, but are important as it relates to
the improvements that a player will make to help
his team win. Coaches will assist athletes in writing
goals for their time spent training with Perfect
Performance and goals for their next season.
Training -
Perfect Performance believes in the benefits of individualized
attention. Therefore, each training session will have
a maximum 4:1 athlete to coach ratio. The training
sessions will last 1 hour and 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes
will be utilized to properly warm-up and stretch each
athlete leaving one hour for drill and instruction.
Post Training Consultation -
Perfect Performance will continue to monitor the progress
of each athlete through monthly conferences. After
the training time is complete, each coach will set-up
a time where
he and the player can discuss his progress and/or problems
via phone, email, or in person. |
